Hi and welcome to my website.
I started the "Sandswirl' site in 2000... and started blogging by manually posting updates... this was all before 'blogging' was ever-so- popularized. My family protested and thought I was crazy for publshing my 'diary' online. Now look! EVERYONE's doing it!
In college, my website served as an experimental grounds for learning how to design and code websites. It was also my venting grounds, where I constantly blogged about anything and everything that was on my mind. It was my online archive of my life with photos, stories, everything... and then I started getting some weird stalkers, so I took it all down. =)
I originally created this website to keep my friends and family updated on my life. But nNowadays, with Facebook to help you keep in touch with your friends, Flickr to upload all your photos, and Yelp to write reviews and such -- there isn't much room left for a personal site unless you have something really special to share. I've naturally grown less and less attached to this site, which is why it hasn't been updated as much as the good 'ol days... but I miss it.
So here I am, once again -- trying to figure out what the heck I should do with this thing.
After much contemplation, I decided I should still keep it, and will continue to try to update as often as possible - with exclusive content that you CAN'T find on my facebook, flickr, or yelp. I'm determined to revive this site - just you wait...
